Short version: the tests run on your device, there are no accounts, and we don't collect anything that identifies you.
What runs where
Every test on this site runs in your browser. Screen details, frame timings and click timings are computed locally and are not sent to us.
Stored on your device
To be useful, a few pages remember things in your browser's local storage: saved refresh-rate readings, input-lag runs, your colour-checklist progress and your last diagnosis request. This never leaves your device. Clear it any time:
Symptom diagnosis
If you use the diagnosis tool, the text you type (and any readings you choose to include) is sent to our server and to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate the answer. We don't store it, and it isn't linked to you. Don't include personal information.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not track you across sites.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure the service.
